To strengthen our IT/Security Team, we are currently looking for a:

ICT System & Security Manager

As ICT System & Security Manager, you will work with and lead a team of ICT System & Security Architects and Engineers. You will lead the transformation of our IT and security landscape from a decentralized model to a more standardized and integrated environment across the group. The focus is on defining group-wide IT and security standards, ensuring alignment of local implementations, and guiding the organization in adopting modern, efficient, and secure practices—particularly within our Microsoft-based infrastructure.

As the group continues to grow through acquisitions, you will also play a key part in onboarding new companies and helping them integrate into the existing IT security framework.

You report to the CIO. This role is currently still being filled by the CFO.

IPCOM is committed to equal employment opportunity and fair treatment for employees, beginning with the hiring process and continuing through all aspects of the employment relationship. All qualified applicants will be seriously considered regardless of a person's race, colour, age, gender, sexual orientation, disability, nationality, or other status.

Your tasks & responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and support a central team of system and security engineers/architects, ensuring operational excellence and continuous development.
  • Drive and implement the integration strategy at the level of IT systems and cybersecurity across all entities in the group.
  • Coordinate and align group-wide IT systems and security initiatives across decentralized teams and business units.
  • Set standards and develop group-wide policies for system architecture, cybersecurity, identity & access management, cloud usage, and IT governance—primarily within a Microsoft ecosystem (e.g., Windows Server, Microsoft 365, Azure, Intune, etc).
  • Advise and support local IT teams on the implementation of standards, tools, and best practices to ensure consistency and quality.
  • Track progress and report on the adoption and maturity of security controls and IT standards across all entities.
  • Facilitate collaboration and knowledge exchange between the IPCOM group IT community.
  • Ensure ongoing compliance with relevant regulations and frameworks (e.g., NIST).
  • Support the development of a long-term IT systems and security roadmap aligned with strategic goals.
  • Act as a key contact for internal and external audits, security reviews, and risk assessments.

Your profile

  • Preferably a Master’s degree in ICT.
  • At least 10 years of experience in a similar role, including team leadership.
  • Experience in an international environment and operating in multi-entity, decentralized organizations is a strong advantage.
  • Proven experience working with Microsoft technologies such as Azure, Microsoft 365, Windows Server, Active Directory, Intune, etc.
  • Strong background in IT standardization, systems integration, and cybersecurity frameworks.
  • Excellent coordination, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Fluent in Dutch and English (spoken and written); other languages are a plus.
  • Ability to effectively share knowledge and mentor others.
  • Relevant MS certifications are a plus.
  • Willingness to travel internationally.
